A solid Western definitely worth at least one read if not more. The writing is technically sound with no glaring issues with spelling or grammar.
At times the characters speech can be a bit corny, but that's not uncommon among Western stories (especially not ones with flirty females like Cathy) so it's not a major issue. The only thing that dragged it down a bit for me and gets to me a little more each read is Maria's behavior and Emerson never putting her foot down in regards to her BS.
As a whole the story is very good and flows well with a couple of well written action/shootout scenes.
