I'm a sucker for a wonderful love story, and scouries somehow hits the bull's eye with this one.
Jim and his mother emerge from a terrible life with her husband and they escape to sunny Miami where Mom admits to have had a baby girl who was forcibly given up for adoption, which she has regrette3d ever since; but after searching for yeaqrs she becomes desperate to find out what happened to the baby. This is the recount of the search for her daughter, and the affec it had on all three lives.
