Great story. Nice plot. I have to admit not liking the sex scenes though. Not that it matters all that much. There aren't a lot of them. Definitely worth the time.

A nice long story, a short review. I think that makes a good symetrical result.
"Kinetic" is a story of the sudden 'birth' of god-like powers in a young student and investigates the obvious ethical and moral issues that that event would raise.
Young Eric, suddenly realizes that he can influence things around himself. At first, the influence is weak but as time goes on both the strength and range of his influence increases.
Luckily for Humanity, Eric is a very moral person. He also has a girlfriend: Melanie with whom he can discuss such thorny issues as should he destroy people he doesn't like?
There's some nice, steamy sex in the story. Melanie is an absolute dream lover
The discussions of philosophy, of theology and various explorations of human relationships, are all very well handled and it makes for an interesting 'mind experiment.'
If you also find physics sexy, then boy, are you in for a treat!! :o)
