This story must be pretty much unique in the Massive SoL library. Inside Angela is a very dark place to be!
This is not a stroke story, just the opposite in fact, and I write this review feeling slightly nauseous, and close to tears. GTM gives us a subtle look at the dark side of life that creeps up on the reader viscerally, rather than immediately impacting intellectually.
The fact that the story is so well written gives it even more impact, there no typos or homonyms to distract the reader, so the full force of GTM's words go straight to the reader's heart.
This story is disturbing on a number of levels, but every man that is a man should read it, and learn from it. You may not enjoy it in the same way as you would any number of SoL's other offerings, but it's well worth reading.
You never know, you may be able to reach out to a girl like Angela someday.
