'The Accident' is a story of a man who believes that his wife is cheating on him with his best friend. Payback is a bitch.
No real stroke to this story. THis is mostly a plot-driven story. The story is enjoyable but it could use more character consistency. The main character was either an emotionless professional or a devoted and loyal man, husband and father.
Only noticed a couple of grammar issues. However, the story should have other codes added to it as there were more elements than were coded for.

In "The Accident", we read of Tom and Nicky, the cheating that nearly occurred, and its aftermath.
There wasn't much sex in this story, and what sex there was, wasn't described in graphic detail with intent to titillate. There is very little stroke value to this story, but that is OK.
The plot itself is just OK. The characters are all unrealistic. The author indicates that the characters would all act towards extremes for the purpose of the story, but it just didn't work for me. There was nothing in the story to make you care about any of the characters.
There were numerous factual errors in the story that made the story a lot less enjoyable. Paramedics don't administer plasma, but use either a normal saline or ringers lactate for IV fluids. Any coma that lasts more than a week scares the crap out of doctors, head trauma or not. The way the police investigated Harris's murder seemed to be awfully simple from what we were told. Those type of errors ruined what little immersion I had into the story.
Technically, the writing was pretty consistent, with no major errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Nothing that threw me out of the story because it didn't make sense. The changes in PoV during the story weren't always handled with grace, making them a little jarring at times.
All in all, I had to push myself through the reading of this. It was difficult to get immersed into the story. Lack of appealing characters, extreme behaviors by most cast members, and a very predictable ending didn't help matters. I didn't enjoy the story.
