An exciting story, a detective story, a horror story, a suspense story, a love story, an action drama—a romance that has enough gruesome parts to wilt some romance fans, however.
But the gruesome nature becomes clear in the first few chapters, so if it's too much for you, you'll know early. It's not like you read 17 chapters and then you discover a squick and stop after investing a lot of time.
Saint and a Sinner is an excellent suspense drama with a cop, a man cop, and a criminal who get wrapped in a contest of wits and wills. And a love story between people who don't want to be in love. And a political story about ambition and corruption.
Daniellkitten has written a complex 37 chapter story that becomes more entertaining and engrossing as the chapters count up. It is well-plotted and well-organized, with realistic characters and real-seeming action.
Capitalization, punctuation, etc., are just fine. There are a significant number of wrong-word vocabulary miscues, however. But if you just read through them and ignore them, the excellent story will make up for it.
