First, let me start off by saying that this story is amazing. As in his other three stories, Longhorn's main characters are real.

This one seems to be a bit darker than the other ones, or at least in the path that the main character goes down. This is the first one where he does something deliberately self-destructive.

If you are reading for Stroke, this is not one of those. If you are reading for plot and character development, this is what you are looking for.

Skimmers beware, there are some parts in the story that if you skim over, you will miss a phrase or two that makes the next couple of paragraphs all the more clear.
