Sweet and funny are the two words that came to mind after I read this one. The characters are most definitely Southern and I recognized some of my own kin and/or friends in them. They're lovable flakes.
The women are not stereo-typed Southern women. They each have their own unique personality and you can't help but like them and want to know them better and to hope they reach their goal in the story. (You'll have to read it. I'm not giving it away.)
The men in the story, like men everywhere, don't understand their women, but they know enough about them the either go along with them or to keep out of their way. They of course, put their foot down when they feel things are getting just a little more out of hand than what they should be. They, after all, are the protectors of their families and those they love.
Bob did a wonderful job with this piece and as a Southern Lady, and the older sister of a little brother serving his country as an MP, I'll never have one moments regret that I read this story.
