I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for a good post-apocalyptic story. So, even with the fairly major technical flaws in this one, I still enjoyed it.
It would have been better if the author had a better grasp on dialog, punctuation and spelling; it also could have not strained suspension of disbelief so much if characters didn't immediately adapt or overcome significant stress so much, but then that's not too different from many in the genre.
Overall, the story was good; there were a lot of ideas that were touched on that could have been developed more to produce a better story; there were interesting - although not fully developed - characters; and there was some good action. It wasn't up to the standard of Al Steiner's Aftermath, but then few things are. Anyone who really likes the post-apocalyptic genre should give this one a read. Those who aren't that interested in the genre should probably pass on this story.
