I keep on saying it, and I'll repeat it again; I am a sucker for a truly wonderful love story. One with a happy ending. Where the young lovers start off as virgins, and the females all end up pregnant, because of their innocence about such things.
And Fate, that sneaky imp, finally gets his way with the lovers.
Samantha and George are the first young lovers whose parents devise a simple scheme to stop any hanky-panky in the form of sexual intercourse from happening. They get Amy, George's younger sister, and Philip, Sam's younger brother, to double date Sam and George. And, as Philip and Amy dislike each other the parents expect nothing will happen. How wrong can you get!
Of course 'que sera, sera' as any B-O-B's readers will understand, and the obvious does indeed happen.
Now this is where true undying love enters the story and now you must read 'Blind Date Blues" to find out what happens.
Enjoy!

This was a very fun read! One of Beating Off Bob's earlier multi-chapter stories, he really did a great job creating a story that was a joy to read.
A lot of authors writing about teenagers project too much adult behavior into the teens. The teens make decisions as you would expect a 35yr old investment banker to make, instead of the many mistakes that teenagers make as they learn about life.
In "Blind Date Blues", Beating Off Bob lets us remember teens as teens.
George and Samantha behave in a matter that is refreshingly honest to their age. They try to be good, but they allow their teenaged hormones to dictate their actions, and pay the price for those actions.
Amy and Philip, their respective younger siblings, are thrust together by well meaning parents, trying to keep George and Samantha out of bad situations. Unfortunately for those parents, things don't always work out as you would think, and the two seemingly indifferent teens end up enjoying their time together. Their relationship is also a very realistic part, as they watch their older siblings lose control, and learn from it.
Lastly, there is Fate. Fate plays a highly entertaining sidebar to the whole story, and Beating Off Bob uses it to the reader's amusement. Without Fate telling "his" part, this story would not be nearly as enjoyable to read.
The sexual tension created was excellent, the flirtation with incest was well done, and the sex itself was erotic.
All in all, an very well crafted story by Beating Off Bob, and I highly recommend it.
