When two apprentices meet the sparks fly. When they make love their emotional involvement is broadcast to all within their sphere, and they lose their virginity in a riot of emotion! And instead of the lambasting they expected from their Master Mage, they are treated with relief that she would not be a problem to the townspeople when the youngsters made love again, and again, and again!
Enjoy! I did, but there again, I'm a sucker for a good love story!

Apart from the fact that "Mack the Knife" was coincidentally my late Dad's wartime nickname, I am fast becoming really impressed with MtK's entire output and regularly look for his name in the "latest issues" list.
The first story of his that I read was "The Solitary Arrow," an adventure thriller that gripped my attention from first page to last. This single episode story whilst not being a thriller as such, carries with it the same lovely attention to a cast of characters that are so attractive and well-wrought that you truly care for them.
Wenn, the new boy apprentice to the wizard, Marrat is surprised to discover that he is to share his new duties and status with a girl, Crissa.
Her magical gifts soon show themselves and the two young virgins quickly find that their new lives together will be quite a loving venture!
The descriptive passages are first rate, and the scenarios are most excellently crafted.

Dual Apprenticeship is a pretty simple fantasy story. Magic exists, apprentice is going to meet his master. But Mack is able to take a good plot and make it into a good stroke story. The main characters are teenagers gifted with magical powers. This story is definetly a stroke story at heart but its got an excellent plot and great detail and writing. I have no personal complaints at all. It's a quick and excellent read for anyone looking for a good fantasy tale.
