If you have ever lived on a Mid-Western Farm, you would know what distance really means; miles and miles of nothing but Miles before you get to your nearest neighbour. It means that families usually work, play, and love together. You ride a horse to school, and work. And very often you fall in love with your sister, and learn about sex at the hands of her instead of the prick teaser down the road that lives seven miles away. And so it is with our young hero, who learns at the fountain of love with the help of his father and his lovely sister.
And it brings to mind the fact that the Farm has been in the same family for generations, and may I say, "Like Father, like Son!"
Bob is one of my favorite Authors, whose pen is thoroughly ready to teach us all how to write an excellent tale of Family Love. Enjoy!
