Mark is the mathematics King of the Nerds in his school. Lori is the beautiful rich kid junior who needs a mathematics tutor, so, of course he is selected.

Mark is a tongue-tied young man who would love to have her as a friend. Lori is used to the jocks coming on strong, and is pleasantly surprised at Mark's lack of domination. They slowly but surely realize how much they like each other when they realize they masturbate whilst thinking of each other.

The only difference in this story of teenaged love is that she doesn't get pregnant right away as BOB's heroines usually do!

Enjoy!

In the world of erotica writing, you'll hear people talk about 'stroke stories'. In other words, stories whose primary (and sometimes only) purpose is to get the reader off. These are, of course, far different from *actual* stories, and, by inference, inferior.

Now, you can talk about people who set out to write actual stories but, if you isolate the 'hot scenes', they're gifted 'stroke' writers. (Nick Scipio comes to mind. I do *not* :-)). But that's still acceptable, because such a writer is still a 'real' story writer.

But what about a writer who, at first glace, is 'just' a 'stroke' writer--but can still pull off a hell of a story?

For me, there's nobody better at that little trick than Beating Off Bob.

Bob will freely admit he's a smutwriter, and one with a rather pronounced fetish (pregnancy), and one that's not quite so pronounced but is prominent (incest). This story isn't about incest, but the 'threat' of pregnancy is surely there.

And it's a stroke story. It's all about the sex. Right?

Well, yeah...except there's these two *characters* involved. And they're pretty cool. It's a standard scenario, one I've used far too often myself--the Geek and the Goddess--but they're not one-dimentional.

There's a set-up. It's not huge, but they're not hopping into bed at the get-go. There's a good amount of byplay and buildup. He's clumsy and embarrassed. She's rather flattered. They're *people*, not just a dick and a pussy.

Like most stroke stories, it's a wee bit too short for my taste--I'd like another 10,000 words that shows them *afterwards*, thanks, Bob. :-) But, really, that's the only quibble I have about it. Plus, Bob's writing--technically speaking--is as clean as a whistle.

Oh, did I mention this was a stroke story? Well, that means the sex parts should be hot, right? Oh, Bob nails this little requirement right out of the park.

So, the next time you're hitting 'random' on the SOL front page, and you see one of Bob's stories, don't dismiss it as 'stroke'. It's that, sure. But it's a lot more. All of his stuff is good; anything with 'Blues' in the title is extra-good; and Tutor's Blues is my favorite.
