This story is a science fiction future, as seen by Arthur Shadwe.
Last Man Standing is an interesting concept in a barroom fight; it means you fought better than everyone else. In a war on a battlefield, you might have been lucky or have done a better job staying out of the enemy's sight.
Arthur Shadwe created a story about being a 'Last Man Standing.' We are introduced to Hal when he limps into a bar called The Last Man Standing. Hal is one of the individuals who this tale revolves around. He meets Mary, another survivor; only she was ten days old when she joined the fraternity in the Battle of Mount Tripten. Hal became a member when he fought for survival in a battle on Gamma Colony. After the conflict ended, Government forces found him with his back pressed against a wall, his leg shattered, partially deaf, and exhausted. He was The Last Man Standing. How can one survivor affect another? Mary affected Hal; what happens when Mary discovers Hal's nightmares!
If you are intrigued to read this story, I think you will enjoy it, even if there is no wild sex scene or the whoring of Mary. The ending will surprise you, I hope.
