Compassion. It is only a word. In this haunting and bitter-sweet tale the outlaw Johnny Ringo shows compassion for a captive Apache indian girl.
This story hit me in the pit of my stomach because of knowing one of my own ancestors had been shunned by his family for falling in love with and marrying a young Cherokee woman.
They were fortunate enough to live and raise a large family. Johnny Ringo and the love of his life's tale... I can't tell you the ending, but it is well worth the read!
