WOW!!! What a touching story. Folks this is one of the years best tearjerkers for sure.
Congratulations goes out to this new author on SOL. This first submission of hers is eloquently written. This is the kind of story that goes on for generations due to the fact that it's short enough to share with others and hopefully they'll pass it on to another and so on and so forth.
What is "The Angel" about? It's about a person, a woman, who was taught to do her best. To live for her ambition and damn the rest. She never knew love. She went through her whole life missing and passing up opportunities to let herself love or be loved by anyone. She attained her career goals. A fighter pilot in the service and one of the first astronauts to Mars.
There is no detail as to what went on on her Mars expedition. There was not of that triviality. The story centers on the heart of one person. Our heroine Juliey Myers and her untimely meeting with destiny.
However, there is a twist. Yes folks the old plot twist gets involved and during her attempt to go through the "pearly gates" she meets up with someone in her past and is given the opportunity to do it right this time. And she does.
Come and follow our heroine through her experiences and her lessons in and about love. You'll be moved by this emotiona-filled story. If not, you've got no soul! :)
