In "Jesus, Mary, & Joseph", we read about Eric, a young boy turning into an adult, and Stephanie, the sister of his best friend, becoming a friend, and more.
The sex in the story is fairly hot. It may not scorch your eyebrows, but it fits in very well with the plot.
The story plot itself was very well done. It consists of snippets of Eric's life that revolve around Stephanie. He's present at her birth, first seeing her minutes after she is born and sleeping in the nursery. From that time on, the story covers some critical moments in their lives, until they fatefully meet again at Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
Because of the short nature of this story relative to the amount of time it covers (approximately 20 years), it cannot go into great depth. Having said that, the author did an amazing job of making both Eric and Stephanie feel real to me. The story telling also fits well in how their relationship develops.
Technically, there were no errors that jumped out at me, and certainly didn't jar me out of the story.
I enjoyed this story. Would it have been more fun if it was in depth and explored those later years in more depth? Maybe. But maybe not. This was a great example of sticking to the core tale, and making a story feel complete with a minimum of wasted words. In fact, if you were to have had a similar relationship over the course of that many years, this story feels like it would be exactly how you remembered it unfolding.
A great, quick romance story, I highly recommend it.
