This is a great example of the type of story that really turns me on - an innocent, well meaning bit highly sexed young wife (narrator) finds herself sliding, bit by bit, down a slippery slope of corruption. Who could ask for more? I love the way the wife reacts as the pressure (suggestions that husband could lose job) is gradually turned up - she has only a dim idea what is going on behind the scenes, and is continually trying to rationalize what she's done while simultaneously making ineffectual attempts to reestablish her sense of honor and dignity. I only wish the author had come up with some additional stories.
