Reviewed:
There's always been something about two women making love that reaches into the male psyche, and grabs it by the balls. This story translates that into the written word. I find it hard to believe that 'Gary Johns' is a man, his rendering of the love scenes is too sensitive, too intuitive. I say 'love scenes' advisedly, because that's what they are, not sex scenes. Hearts on Fire is as much about relationships as it is about sex.
Technically the story is great, there's absolutely nothing to take the reader's attention away from the text. The characters are believable, and the plot is good, if not original. All things considered, this is an excellent piece of work.
If, like me, you find the idea of lesbian love exciting and arousing, Hearts on Fire is definitely for you.
Read, and enjoy!
