For what it's worth, one could pretty much class all of Friar Dave's stories as 'stroke stories', because they tend to have a lot of explicit sex in them. But there's more, so much more.
You will have heard about the difference between porn and erotic art compared to being slapped in the face with a naked chicken versus being tickled with a feather duster.
This story has a lot of eroticism in it. There is a lot of titillation and subtlety. The characters are three-dimensional, we get to see them as persons, we see them interact with other persons who have a character, who have lives of their own. This is so much better than a mere 'stroke story'.
And entirely apart from the great characterization is the writing style of "Wanted" which is, to my mind, simply delightful. The story is written as first person narration, and the narrator constantly injects asides, observations, and also quite a bit of humour into the narrative. Plus, it's very very high quality of English. Impeccably edited.
And then, I should say this, just as the story appears to be headed towards yet another climax ..... the author leaves his readers to their imagination, and that, too, is a sign of excellent writing in my book.
