Some days I feel like reading a story where I know the ending will make me happy. In that case, I fall back on one of the stories in my permanent collection. I have read and reread this one, and thoroughly enjoy it each and every time.

The old saying that good things come in small packages is seldom more true than with this little gem. It doesn’t take long to read this story, but the author manages to pack it full of sorrow, joy, family ties, and renewal.

I can't say much more about this tale without giving it away, but suffice it to say that the protagonist finds love coming his way from a quite unexpected source. Read it and find out why it's in my permanent library!
