Charming! That's a reasonable one word review of this story.
Juan, the narrator, moved to the United States with his family when he was 15. Unfortunately his grasp of English leaves something to be desired. Fast forward a couple of years and his English has gotten good enough that he's able to hold his own in college and his abilities as a programmer are superb. His social skills, though - particularly where they relate to the opposite sex - are somewhat stunted.
Stephanie is in the computer science program as well - but under protest. Her love is English literature. Hmmmm... Her social skills are certainly better than Juan's but, for whatever reason, she's still pretty inexperienced.
The pleasure of this story is the journey as two college virgins break out of their shells.
Minimal actual sexual content but there's a fair amount of sexual tension.
Technically it comes off as a story told by someone for whom English was not their first language. The phrasing can be a bit stilted and the sentence structures are not always complete. That's not a problem, though - it's part of the charm. The story really sounds like it's being told by someone who has to work hard to put words that the reader will understand to what he's experiencing.
