The stories you are about to read (all three) are based on what are called "Variations Upon a Theme" First contemplated by Rachmaninoff upon hearing Paganini's wonderful music, he wrote his variations. This time, Sigerson Holmes has taken Max and Marti, and set them in a backwoods cabin, completely isolated from the world and very cleverly wrote three "Whatiffs" about a brother and sister in 'Love' with each other; a father and daughter who surrender themselves to each other for the rest of their lives, and an Aunt (Marti,) nephew Max and the love they realize encompasses them all, including his repressed mother.
One of the great concepts behind SOL is that very rarely is a story dropped... thank heavens... because we can still read these erotic tales which under Canadian Laws infringe none. They are a pleasure to read, and they titillate and erotically stimulate our senses.
Sometimes when one reads some erotica there is a sense of peeking at a dirty movie when Daddy forgot to hide the 8mm b&w before the kids see it. Not the case here, happily.
So sit back and enjoy, and let SH know your favourite!
