Not a full review, just a quick note about this installment: the author NAILS its ending.
Which is good, because until then, this installment (and, to an extent, the previous one) gets bogged down with Andrew overthinking things even more than usual. It is amusing that he slags himself off for sticking his head up his arse with teenage angst, especially since he’s no longer a teenager, but it didn’t make it any more fun to sit through. I now suspect the story was drawn out in order to a) maneuver two plot threads into alignment and b) have Andrew’s face-smacking happen on the installment’s last page.
Two conclusions to be drawn from that: the author is indeed deeply plotting this sprawling and superficially wandering novel, and his plotting skills were a little bit strained in this section.
As a result of that face-smacking, I expect the rest of the story will head straight downhill to an HEA—quite possibly the one I’ve been rooting for since halfway through uni. *hustles off to the next installment find out*

Gruinard has just finished book 23 of 25 books in the story of "Living Two Lives". This story is very involved following the life and tribulations of Andrew McLeod from a pre-teen through to a young man. Characters are interesting and well described throughout the series.
Crunch time is approaching in this book. Andrew is still confused but is trying to sort out his life and what that may be like when he finishes University.
He is still modelling in France, but will this continue after Uni? He still enjoys his photography and will he continue as a hobby or career? What will be his career, something to do with his University training or something else entirely? Where will he live? Which partner will he end up with? So many questions and this book is where it starts to get sorted.
Family is still an issue (aren't all families), but he is making his own with his close friends. Life can get hectic especially during your last year at University, but good friends are not only hard to find but to keep them close. Will he manage?
This book ends with a cliff hanger of mega proportions, obviously to get you to stay tuned for book 24. Well, I am waiting!
If the above doesn't make sense then you need to read the previous 22 books as it all builds up over those books.
