This is an older vignette that has me confused. At the time of this review the score for this piece is 6.43 which tells me most folks were unimpressed. I cannot comprehend how it has been scored so low. I am still scratching my head trying to figure it out.
The way I read it, this is a memoir (fictional or otherwise) written for a much loved spouse. I found it so well written I was transported back to the summer of love and yes I do remember that far back. One possibility is that some of the word pictures used are outside some reader's experience. I felt he did a great job of describing the time and attitudes of that time.
It is labeled 'much sex'. It is not a stroke story though. It does use much of the prose to describe the sex quite graphically and it is the main subject of the vignette.
As you can probably guess, I highly recommend 'Remember' and feel it is much better than it's current score.
