A nice romantic cozy with a strong element of wry, self-deprecating humour.
That's not my usual style, but i appreciate a well-constructed story quite a bit.
Plotwise, I liked the manner in which the story is anchored in the Real World, with concrete details of what the characters are doing mundanely during the pre-sexual maneuverings. ((And it's nice to know who Baby Doe was, for the first time, after passing a restaurant named after her for years.))
I'll try a couple more by the same author, I think.
