This is a partial review for Games. The story has reached chapter 39 so by now there is enough content to give a review. I can revisit the review when the story is concluded - but I am hoping that it not for quite some time.
ByDaSea has written some gems like "Little Mistress" and Becoming a School Slut. This is a bit of a departure because he is writing a Female Led Relationship (Femdom) story.
The plot summmary is in the description - but this is essentially a love story between a man, a woman, and their live-in college age roomate with a LOT of kink and dirty games.
I am a fan of FLR/Femdom stories, but too often they are power-trip fantasies where the female cuckolds her husband, often through blackmail and then she has an excuse to fuck anyone/everyone but him.
If a male dominant were written like the women in control in those stories, people would see them as a callous villain who doesn't deserve the submission of their wives/slaves. They expect the man to take charge but in any consensual relationship, there is a give and take in the power exchange that requires them to actually give a shit about her needs and well being (even if that includes pain or being shared sexually).
What Games does is tell a femdom story that actually seems authentic. Any real femdom relationship I've personally encountered usually involves traditional gender roles being reversed. What we take for granted about the man taking charge, is simply reversed in their household.
If there are kink elements (And there ARE in this story) the woman takes an active dominant role, but she isn't looking to just fuck anybody but her husband. She loves him - she just wants to shape and mold him into someone who listens obediently and gives. Yes, he may do the lion share of the housework, but often women do as well in traditional gender role households.
If there is feminization (and this story has that too) she isn't trying to make him pass for a woman. She could GET a woman if that was her goal. It's usually to make humble him and to make him see just what goes into looking good for him so he can appreciate that - and the power of women.
Bydasea does a fantastic job of pacing. Every chapter things expand a little further, and it does not get stale. Every chapter some new experience happens or we revisit an old one but this time something adds to what the first one was reinforcing. Kinky stuff eventually goes from something they do after work when they have time, to "This is just how we live..and we incorporate it into the mundane things we do" so even going to the store or the beach, starts to blend into the kinky way of life so that vanilla or "normal" no longer really exists for them.
I've noticed the main character seems to LOVE his coffee. This is his last vestige of the way things used to be - this is his 'normal'. Every morning he gets up and enjoys that coffee. A reminder perhaps of what it was like before it was his idea to start these submission games.
I keep waiting for the girls to make him jerk off into it in the mornings to add cream to it just to make it part of their new way of life. The wife and college age roomate grow slowly into the role of dominants - it isnt like all of a sudden they know all the rules and how hard they are going to push Don (the main character). They test boundaries (their own and his) and decide what things they like to do and what they don't.
If you are a fan of femdom, but don't want generic cuckold stereotype fantasy stories - give this a try. I don't know really know what to do with Appeal on this one - it's a 10 to people who like femdom, its a 1 to people who do not.
