Jacqueline Jillinghoff has created a delightful tale called ‘The Shoemaker's Daughters’.
Twin girls who were so much alike that no one could tell them apart. The shoemaker married late in life to a young lass, a helpmate, someone to cook. Nothing more was expected of her, but as time went on, their chaste life evolved into something more. The twin girls were born but the young lass was lost in childbirth. The matching girls grew up full of mischief.
‘The Shoemaker's Daughters’ by Jacqueline Jillinghoff. The story is dedicated to Bruno Traven, who provided the illustrations.
