Reviewed:
Archangel is about a teenage boy who ends up transforming into a teenage girl and becoming one of the most powerful heroes in the United States.
I enjoyed reading the story and it showed a lot of potential, but unfortunately the story also felt rushed and too short for my likes, especially at the end. This story could have easily covered a full-sized novel and it feels more like the first chapter of an epic tale. It feels like the story stopped before it really got going, which is a real pity.
Technically the story needs work. Especially the addition of an apostrophe in the plural form of words was distracting.
For my appeal I'm scoring the story a 'Good'. As I said, it shows a lot of potential, but it ends up being short and rushed at the end. I think the story would have been better with the final paragraphs removed and having it serve as an introduction story that allows for sequals. Having that said, if you're looking for a short super hero story, then I can recommend reading this one. The story has a good base and a good pace.
I hope the author will write more stories about 'Archangel'.
