Joshua wakes up in the Dragon Ball Z dimension with no knowledge of how he got there and making interesting discoveries about this world soon after. I can't say much more without giving any spoilers.
The story is as fast paced as the tv show/ comics that it's based on. Being a DBZ fan myself this story quickly got my interest and I didn't stop reading until I caught up to all 55 chapters that were written so far. (The story is still in progress.)
I liked the plot even though the explanations of who Joshua is/ where he came from grew repetitive. I think the author could have handled that in a better and explain this where it added to the story. Still, this was a minor nuisance on my part and it didn't distract too much from the main storyline.
I loved seeing characters that I wasn't familiar with in the first part. I think the portrayal of the characters was realistic and in line with the tv series, although I would have liked to see Goku play a bigger role in the overall story. I'm less familiar with the fandom of the second part in the story so it was hard for me to relate to those characters, but even so it was fun to read about his exploits there.
Overall, Arquillius came up with an interesting plot that keeps me interested in reading more . There are several technical errors in the story, but nothing that a good editor can't fix, and it wasn't too distracting.
I quite liked the story and I'm looking forward to reading more chapters. If you're a DBZ fan then I can recommend reading this story. If you're not very familiar with the shows then this might not be the right story for you though, since it's very fast paced and makes a lot of references to characters you wouldn't be familiar with. The author is definitely a true fan and a lot more knowledgeable than I am in that aspect.
