Reviewed:
This story drew me in right from the start and kept pulling me in chapter after chapter. The opening scenes point to a crime, a plot which the reader is most anxious to discover. The actions are woven in such a way that they don't hit snags or unravel, maintaining a momentum that keeps the reader scrolling to the next scene.
The author constructs the story in bite-size chapters, keeping the narrative crisp and clear without bogging down the reader in a long, tedious marathon of words. The short timeframe of each chapter allows the reader to take a pause long enough to take a bathroom break or attack the fridge, yet eager to get back to the crime and police investigation in action.
There were a few spelling errors, but they did not deflect from the flow of the story. I would encourage the author to clean up the misspellings and repost the story to make it supremely flawless.
If you like cliffhangers, this story ends with an element of surprise, a dramatic revelation, leaving the reader to wonder the fate of the main character. And hoping that the author will return with a sequel to resolve the mystery.
