Opening scene: Two Of Manhattan's Special Victims Unit detectives are surveilling a suspected criminal's house, and looking up the block, they see a line forming for a concert. In the line of people, the detectives see what appears to be a man molesting a child. The pedophile was a man handling a young girl. The shit hits the fan as they try to intervene, save the child, and arrest the pedophile; only the detective messed up.
The story works, just like the tv show leaving large holes in the plot. What can you expect? It's kind of like a tv show, barely adequate. A good setup but ends too quickly, just like a tv episode. The story is ok, but don't plan on being enriched by it.
