A short review of an equally short story. “Slippery Saddle Bum” has created a situation that happens in real life, “Shunning Mom the Slut“.
The story opens up with Darlene answering a phone call from mom. One would think that the call should be a pleasant chat between a mother and daughter. Still, it spirals down the slippery slope of infidelity as Darlene confronts her mother about the apparent sexual actions that have taken place while the father was away working. The mothers’ lack of control destroys the family.
