Reviewed:
An artist travelling abroad meets a young woman who he falls in love with, not realizing the depth of his feelings initially. Add in a daughter that he was not told of when they first met. As with real life, the initial long-distance relationship is threatened by the distance involved, by jealousy, and by lack of communication. Can it be saved?
For plot, an outstanding 10. Nicely written, the story takes us on a journey through the lives of the main characters. There was one plot point that still had me wondering, but not enough to detract from the story.
For technical score, a B (7). There were about 50 mistakes I found in my first read through the story, most of them simple misspellings. Things like hindred instead of hundred, cpapable instead of capable, and so on. A few were missed words, or the use of the wrong homophone. Ultimately, these did not overly distract from the story.
For personal appeal, another outstanding 10. This is a great little story.
