Reviewed:
I so enjoyed this tale. Really. It was just some good rollicking fun. The author said, "...it was fun to write," well it was fun to read too.
So, why such a score? What isn't there to like?
Look at the tags...
"Tags: Ma/Fa, Ma/ft, Fa/ft, Romantic, DomSub, Polygamy/Polyamory."
DomSub? Really. Nah, if I had been the author I might not have put it in. It is so minimal, - peripheral even. Please don't let that stop you if it did make you wonder.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the tags to be accurate and have railed at authors who have left out rather critical information in their tagging especially when it comes to ages of participants or gender choices.
I also cannot even bother with stories where the author has tried to tick every box in the tagging list, then made sure to include something from each definition just because they could. I avoid those like the plague!
OK, rant over, back to this great story.
There is stuff there for just about everybody that likes a good read. Ex-Military back from the Sandbox. There is money, but it doesn't intrude. There is a really lovely main character with stunning pink hair. Oh yeah, I could clearly see her in my mind's eye and would love to be going through her checkout at my local supermarket.
There are some really lovely older women involved. Nothing twisted, just some great cooking and some great friendships. There is a Sherrif that is crazy and won't have the role past the next election. There is also regular appearances of a nut, a crazy sperm donor that thinks his fatherhood responsibilities started and ended with that act. Nice to see he gets some comeuppance. He deserved more. Oh, even an ex-con get involved and surely deserves what came to him.
The hero of the tale isn't a super lover with a supersized ego, just a nice guy who knows how to give and receive love. Can't ask for better than that. I would love the meet such a guy and just chat. He sounds nice.
Now to my ratings:
The story is consistent and just about every thread that I detected got cleaned up. Nothing wrong with the spelling, word choices, punctuation, it is all really cool. With one of the elites like Pixel the Cat doing editing who would expect anything else?
The plot is great, technical quality is good, appeal to me - this really brought smiles. I loved it.
Go on, give it a read, you know you want to. Enjoy!
