Johnny took a summer job as a medic for an archeological dig at the Karnak Temple Complex in Egypt. It was just another job until the archeologists discovered a set of stairs leading down to a massive tunnel system under the temple. The tunnels were occupied by the spirit of an ancient priest from the Cult of Amun-Ra. The old man needed Johnny's help to avoid a disaster in 1250BC, during the reign of the Pharaoh Ramses the Great.

It is great to see a new story from Joe J. I personally hope to see more soon. On a technical scale I did not run into any major speed bumps until the 10th chapter. The final chapters still need some editing to fix some doubled words, a couple of extra words that don't fit the sentence and other minor errors.
Listed as an Action/Adventure story it certainly delivers. I put off reading this and now wish I hadn't. A well-structured story that I found hard to put down once I started. I have some issues with the ending as there is a teaser that there is more to come. I just hope that the wait is much shorter this time.
Usually, I mention squick warnings in my reviews about things that may be an issue for some readers. I won't go into much detail as I don't want any unintentional spoilers. That said, those squicked by sharing may have an issue. Harem yes, shared, not really. No one was shared voluntarily and there is no definitive mention of involuntary sharing that I can recall. A necessary part of showing the antagonist's nature for sure. If that is a squick that afflicts you I will let you judge if you should try it or not.
All that said I have no problem recommending the story and have already added it to my favorites list.
