Revenge stories are quite the thing on this site. The jilted husband trying to hide his assets, the jilted husband trying to wrack havoc on his horrid cheating witch, without being wrecked himself. Etc, etc.
Somebody once said: "living well is the best revenge." And that is what makes this story so refreshingly different, because the jilted party does not get up to any nasty shenanigans, not a thought (sic!) and yet, the other party gets their comeuppance - in spades.
A lovely little story that put a smile on my face and gave my heart a happy little hop. I'm not going to spoil it any more than I have already; go read it yourself. It's not as long as War and Peace nor as heavy as Dostoevsky.
