A good story with a lot to like.
The hero starts fighting for an ally just before his 16th birthday and does very well. He should have named one of his sons Gary so his forces would not miss having a Gary son. (A pun intended, on garrison.) He winds up with at least ten wives as rewards for various victories and enjoys at least that many conquests.
Try it and other stories by the author. If you don't like it you probably won't like most of the stories I review.

Another great story by FantasyLover.
I really enjoyed this one. A great universe that I hope to see more of in future stories. Clan ideals I can relate to. Characters that are interesting and live by a code of honor that I really like to see in stories.
Sex is not a major component of the story which is not a bad thing in my book. I did not notice any speed bumps in the flow of the story. The grammarians can hash the grammar as it is not a major concern for me as long as the story flows well. My only real grumble is that there isn't more to the story.
If you are into fantasy / medieval type stories I believe you will enjoy this tale and should give it a try.
