LOL I've come to the realization that the Reviewers here are a myopic lot. Case in point is until today there has never been a single review of this wonderful 6 story series about a kid named John Wayne Cook, who achieves omniscience at age 7. This is a review of only the first of the six and the really cool part is that they get better and better the deeper you get into the series... not a dog in the bunch!
Plot: Imagine if you will being 7 years old and suddenly having access to the memories of billions upon billions of your future selves across a multitude of time lines. PT Brainum does an excellent job expanding upon this "basic" plot and interlaces a LOT of interesting subplots that create a well written story line.
Technical: Unless you are named John Wayne Cook you are going to make some errors. There were a couple, but they only had a slight effect on readability and pretty much went away by the third story in the series.
Appeal: I honestly love all of these stories. Rarely do you find such well written stories, a great plot and page turning subject matter. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
