Reviewed:
Robert "Bob" Lubrican is one of our most prolific writers on SOL. To date, he has 264 stories published on the site, and they are wide-ranging in subjects and material. Most do have a few common threads - the main protagonist is named "Bob" (hmm, wonder why?) and he likes to write about women getting pregnant. Most of his women/girls are strong characters and he's good at character development.
To read many of these stories, you'll need to be a premier member, which you should be anyway, and support this site.
Some of the stories are farcical, some serious, some philosophical, some stroke-oriented. Whatever, Bob has a great sense of humor and the language in his stories often amuses the hell out of me.
This story is outlandish, the tale of two college freshmen girls who take a position as "nannies" for the infant son of a young, widowed professor. Somehow they decide they want to force their breasts to lactate so that they can feed the baby directly instead of using formula. After all, what could possibly go wrong? ?
Anyway, the story is told over 15 chapters, and as usual Bob weaves some extremely interesting context into the story - for example, you'll learn a fair amount about the "becoming pregnant" process, and the Navajo nation! This is fairly typical of most of Bob's stories - you can learn a lot about stuff you never thought of before.
As I said earlier, Bob has published 264 stories here so far. This is a very enjoyable one. There are a few typos because of Bob's growing problems with neuropathy in his hands, but the story is very readable. I hope he'll be able to continue his writing since it brings so much pleasure to his readers.
After this, I suggest you try a few more such as "The Last Wish Blues", "Flossie's Revenge", and "Any Soldier". You'll be glad you did, and you might well find yourself working your way through the other 260, too.
