If you like stories set in 18th Century England, maybe as a fan of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, C. S. Forester's Hornblower stories, or our own SOL's terrific author Argon, for example, you will probably like this story.
It is very well written, mostly from the perspective of the young debutante who has all the normal feelings of anxiety when she has her "season" in London, hoping to attract a husband. And once she has accepted an offer, how to integrate herself into an existing family of three daughters who miss their deceased mother. There's a lot of character development here.
I don't recall many typos or grammatical errors, and the story flows very well. It's easy to read.
My only lament is that the author chose to end it as he did rather than making it into a longer novelette. I would have enjoyed spending more time with these characters. But the story is very appealing and I think most will enjoy it. Give it a try.
