Don't miss author rlfj's newest set of stories: "The Grim Reaper: Adventures in Southern Law Enforcement"!
If you haven't read his previous stories ("A Fresh Start" and "The Grim Reaper" are my favorites and some of the best ever written on SOL, in my opinion), you are in for a treat.
Graham Reaper (aka The Grim Reaper) is again the protagonist in this series, and rlfj is in top form on story composition, character exposition, and humor. I'd suggest that you read "The Grim Reaper", a very, very long story, first, but it's not necessary. What you need to know is that Grim has abundant common sense, a heroic Army record, respect for others, the ability to shoot any weapon with pinpoint accuracy, a great family, and a mild case of PTSD which is pretty well controllable.
In these stories as a Law Enforcement Officer in western Georgia, rlfj relates some really interesting tales of Grim's experiences. The last chapter is just getting started but I have every confidence that it will live up to these other stories.
Plot is a 10, Technical is also a 10 (typos are vary rare), and the story's Appeal is off the charts - I'd assign it a 15, if I could!
If you like well-written stories with appealing characters, you can't go wrong with these!
