Spot is a fascinating story that plays on themes of puppy girl/bdsm and religion.
As strange as it may seem, there are many Christians who believe strongly in subservience to their husbands, and Christian Discipline. This story takes it a bit further in a congregation where women make the sacrifice of their dignity as a test of obedience and faith.
What I like about this story is that there is NO dialogue. Mike intentionally wrote this story without even a single quote. It's just action. People talk but there is no quoted dialogue.
He's posted up the first chapter, but I was able to read the entire lengthy story and I can tell you that it is a masterpiece. He's really done a fantastic job with this story.
Editing wise - there is seldom any mistakes in Mike's crystal clear writing and he's only improved as an author over time. He's more of a "Show" don't "tell" author and that's exactly what this story is about.
If you have issues with religion in a story, stay far away - but if you can handle the concept that for this woman, and many other like her - the journey is what you choose, then give it a read.
