Such a tale but with a warning hidden inside. A valid warning too.
Firstly a note. If you have ever been affected by Domestic Violence or violence within a relationship, this could trigger a bad reaction from you. Be advised.
Secondly a note from me and just about every Court and Police Station in any country that calls itself civilised.
Domestic Violence is NEVER OK. No matter which partner. No matter the provocation. DV is not OK. Get help.
Our heroine starts off the tale in an abusive relationship and finds that friends and neighbours are better than gold.
A bit hard to go through the tale but rest assured. The Princess finds her Prince, and what a Prince and what a Finding! Oh my!
This a well-crafted tale with an interesting plot with good outcomes closing off all the necessary threads. Score the plot at 8. The Technical score is a little lower as this needs an edit to correct the errors. Score this at an 8 too but if the Author cleans up the text I would be happy to review my scores.
The Appeal to the Reviewer is difficult to clarify. The romance part of it well done and I was happy with the outcome. It was hard to be reading the actions of the scumbag and to see just how he chipped away at the psyche of this lovely young woman. I wanted to get in there and have some harsh words with him!
Let's leave it at an 8 and I still recommend this tale to you all.
