Reviewed:
I liked this story enough to recommend it, but it isn't in the running for a story of the year award. It's short and interesting and if you like sailing you should like it even more. Melusine is the name of a boat, built by the narrator and "hero" of the story, although there isn't much heroics in the story. It isn't quite a love story, although there is some loving mentioned.
The numbers are kind of monotonous. There isn't a lot of plot, on the other hand it is a short story. I am giving it a B, a seven. The only technical issue is moderately severe run-on sentence which on my computer ran well past the right margin and required the screen to be extended to the right to read all of it. Again a B, a seven. Appeal is a B plus, but numerically a 7 as well. I like it enough to want to look at other stories by the author. I think most of you will too.
