The war is over as far as the major powers are concerned. They packed up their toys and went home satisfied that they gave it their best shot. There's only one problem - no one told the Jade Empire that the war is over and they are rather insistent that the losers surrender and pay reparations.

I just finished re-reading the Jade Force of Misera series.
This is one of the most amazing series of stories on SOL, well worth your time to read it, and it will take you a lot of time! The idea for the series is brilliant; you may already know that Lazlo Zalezac is one of the finest writers here on SOL.
Not only is the concept brilliant, but the development of each story is amazing. It is very readable, with lots of detail, and a fair amount of wry humor to keep you interested.
Before starting, you may want to see a map of this imaginary world. There's one available at

It will help make the geography much more clear.
Be aware that you'll stumble across a few typos, but nothing that detracts from the narrative. The editors have done a GREAT job. Again, this is a brilliant set of stories, with rich imagination, characterization, and detail. Happy reading!
