Two broken teens find that they might be broken just right for each other in this story. In the process, they find redemption and acceptance in each other.
For plot, I give the story an A+ (9). It does a good job of developing the main characters throughout, especially for a relatively short story. It also ties up what would otherwise be loose ends before ending the tale.
For technical score, another A+ (9). There were a few misplaced commas along with some incorrect word usage, but the incidence of errors was small throughout, and did not distract from the story.
For personal appeal, this one is harder for me to score. I really liked the overall story, but the background building of the MC left me horrified. Do things like that really happen? Indubitably. Do I enjoy reading about them? Not so much. I do like the overall story, however, and it definitely merits at least an A (8), and possibly higher.
