Escape from Lexington is another great story by FantasyLover. Lewis Clark takes the blame for killing the obnoxious spoiled brats of the richest man in the county. Said father is known to be very vindictive thus sending Lewis fleeing to save his life. This alternative history action adventure tale then covers his flight and adventures.
I enjoyed all the characters and really had a hard time putting it down. I called it an alternative history as it is a tale of how a determined man can stick to his principles in how he treats his fellow man. One of the few westerns I have read that has a balanced view between all the different peoples involved; white, black, native, Mexican and Chinese.
Speed bumps are few and minor. An occasional typo is all I noticed while reading. The tale gets close to a Marty Stu but is still a good read. I don't recall any material that might be offensive. Rapes and such are mentioned but not graphically described. Incest is hinted at but again is avoided. Actual graphic depictions of sex are few and tend to drop off as the story progresses.
All in all I can see why it was awarded Best Erotic Western and for those of us that enjoy a good western tale I highly recommend that you give it a read.
