This was some great, sexy space opera.

The Good:

The main character is not an ubermench, but a guy with one or two abilities that make the story possible. He relies heavily on outside help which, with one intentional exception, are reasonably well fleshed out for thier parts in the story. The storyline, while not strictly originally original, is still fresh in approach.

The Bad:

Technology advances too quickly and is too readily available to the protagonist. Too many women, strange as that sounds.
