I am simply not sure how to rate this story, not that such a lack of surety has ever stopped me from offering an opinion. The six chapters, a few of two pages, reads as if it were the Introduction to a much, much longer story. I certainly hope so.
This is in no way a do over, it is however a do it again in a totally different way and has nothing to do with a former self.
The concept seems original, at least original to me, and it was fun to read.
What I want to read now is the next several hundred pages and I have no idea if they are coming or not. I recommend the story, in fact I recommend it highly. The reason for that high recommendation is so that others will pester CPT_Derek to complete what could well turn out to be an SOL multi-book story.
I am not going to give this story any numbers, the numbers are starting to make less sense to me as some reviewers will give a 10 for great grammar and punctuation and spelling and other reviewers will give the same story an 8. Appeal to Reviewer is so personal that unless you know the reviewer it makes no sense at all; most of us, readers of SOL, have pretty diverse tastes. I prefer stories with minimal sex, yet I read stroke stories in the vain hope my old dick will come back to life without a little blue pill.
So given the aforementioned dislike of the numbering system, the plot and the characters in this story are super and I am left with wanting more.
